The idea of the Dubai Frame is to serve as a frame (literally) that symbolically captures views of old Dubai on one side and new Dubai on the other. It also functions as a museum & observatory: you move through galleries showing Dubai’s past, then go up to the sky deck to see the present, and there are exhibits envisioning Dubai’s future.
Jumeirah Mosque, located on Jumeirah Beach Road in Dubai, is one of the city’s most beautiful landmarks built in traditional Fatimid style. Opened in 1979, it’s one of the few mosques in the UAE open to non-Muslims for guided cultural tours. Visitors can explore its stunning architecture and learn about Emirati culture through the “Open Doors, Open Minds” program.
Marjan Islamic Art Gallery in Dubai (Jumeirah 3, Villa No.49, Al Yaheel Street) displays a wide collection of Islamic art including handmade carpets, lanterns, gold-frames etc.
Jumeirah Beach is one of Dubai’s most popular public beaches, known for its white sand, clear waters, and stunning views of the Burj Al Arab. It offers facilities like walking tracks, cafes, showers, and water sports, making it perfect for families and tourists alike.
Burj Al Arab is Dubai’s iconic 7-star hotel, famous for its sail-shaped design and luxurious interiors. Located on its own artificial island, it offers world-class dining, private beaches, and breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf.
Zabeel Palace is the official residence of Dubai’s ruling Al Maktoum family, located in the Za’abeel district. Built in the 1960s by Otto Bulart, it blends traditional Arabic architectural style with modern elements. The palace isn’t open to the public, but its grand gates and gardens can be viewed from outside.
Palm Jumeirah is an iconic artificial archipelago off Dubai, built in the shape of a palm tree (trunk, fronds, crescent breakwater). It’s home to luxury hotels like Atlantis, upscale residences, beaches, restaurants and leisure destinations.
Atlantis, The Palm is a luxury resort on the crescent of Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, opened in 2008. It has around 1,540 rooms and suites, private beaches, major attractions like the Aquaventure water park and The Lost Chambers Aquarium, plus numerous restaurants and entertainment options.
The Palm Jumeirah Monorail is a 5.5 km elevated, driverless transit system connecting key attractions on Palm Jumeirah. It operates daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with trains running every 15 minutes . The route includes four stations: Palm Gateway, Al Ittihad Park, Nakheel Mall, and Atlantis Aquaventure If you want to ride the monorail, you can do so during your visit and purchase tickets directly at the station counter, costing around AED 15–20.
Dubai Marina is a vibrant waterfront district in Dubai, featuring a 3.5 km canal lined with luxury skyscrapers, upscale residences, and a bustling promenade. About Dubai
Dubai rises from desert and Gulf shore as a city of soaring towers, vast malls and beaches, with older trading quarters strung along its creek.
The Burj Khalifa, built to be the tallest building in the world, soars above Downtown, where the Dubai Fountain dances on a lake at its feet and the Dubai Mall spreads out beside it. Along the coast, the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab, the palm-shaped island of Palm Jumeirah and the towers of Dubai Marina define a skyline raised within living memory.
