Itinerary
Our guide will tell you about the life and history of the castle and its fortifications, we will admire the old defensive walls of the fortress of Gaeta Note: the duration consists of the journey to reach and visit the various attractions from above the boat, it will not be possible to get off
Traveling along the stretch of sea of the protected marine oasis, we will admire the cliffs of Monte Orlando, or rocky walls overhanging the sea. Travelers will be able to bathe both in the natural pool of the 40 oars "beach set in the rocks" and in the cliff of the Scissure. You can admire the whole coast from the sea with the different beaches and cliffs of Gaeta. Our boats (11 metres) all have awning for shade, comfortable seats, large sundecks, ladder to climb back up from the sea when you swim, floating noodles and life jackets and snorkelling kits. Once you arrive at the port you can rinse yourself with fresh water to remove the salt. The return is scheduled for 01.30 PM- 02:00 PM. About Gaeta
Gaeta is a fortified port on the coast of southern Lazio, with a medieval old town on a headland, a mountain-cleft sanctuary and long sandy beaches.
Gaeta occupies a rocky peninsula on the gulf that bears its name, where a medieval town of steep lanes is crowned by the Angevin-Aragonese castle. The cathedral's bell tower, from the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, shows Norman and Arab influence, and the sea walls look over a harbour of fishing boats and yachts. Pope Pius IX took refuge in the town in 1848.
