Cast off the moorings we will admire the Gulf of Gaeta, the ancient fortifications, the Bastions, the Church of San Francesco and the Cathedral of Sant'Erasmo, which dominate the Gulf.
After passing the Gulf, we will go around Punta Stendardo and see the other fortifications, the Borgo Antico above the cliff, the Church of San Giovanni a Mare, literally overlooking the sea. About Gaeta
Gaeta is a fortified port on the coast of southern Lazio, with a medieval old town on a headland, a mountain-cleft sanctuary and long sandy beaches.
