Itinerary
Mount Titlis is one of Switzerland’s most popular high-altitude mountain destinations, located near Engelberg in central Switzerland. Rising to 3,238 meters (10,623 ft), it is renowned for its year-round snow, dramatic glacier scenery, and exciting alpine attractions. The journey to the summit is an experience in itself, featuring the world’s first rotating cable car, TITLIS Rotair, which offers panoramic views of deep crevasses, ice fields, and towering peaks as it ascends. At the top, visitors are surrounded by a stunning landscape of snow and ice, even in summer. Highlights at Mount Titlis include the Titlis Cliff Walk, Europe’s highest suspension bridge; the Glacier Cave, a glowing tunnel carved deep inside the ice; snow activities like tubing and sledding; and spacious viewing terraces with breathtaking alpine vistas.
The Titlis Cliff Walk is one of Switzerland’s most thrilling mountain attractions, located at the summit of Mount Titlis near Engelberg. Suspended at an altitude of about 3,041 meters (9,977 ft), it is Europe’s highest suspension bridge, offering an unforgettable high-adrenaline experience. Stretching roughly 100 meters, the bridge spans a dramatic glacier crevasse and sways gently above the icy landscape below. With steel mesh sides and a narrow walkway, the Cliff Walk provides breathtaking 360° views of snow-covered peaks, deep valleys, and vast glaciers. Despite its daring appearance, the bridge is completely safe and built to withstand extreme alpine weather conditions. Open year-round (weather permitting), the Titlis Cliff Walk is a must-do highlight for visitors, combining thrill, stunning scenery, and a true sense of adventure high in the Swiss Alps.

About Lucerne
Lucerne is a compact Swiss lake city with a covered wooden bridge, a medieval wall and a ring of mountains, in the heart of Switzerland.
Lucerne sits at the northern end of Lake Lucerne, where the Reuss River flows out under two old wooden bridges. The Chapel Bridge, with its stone water tower and painted roof panels, dates from the fourteenth century, although it was partly rebuilt after a fire in 1993. The old town has painted house fronts, squares and the twin-spired Jesuit church, and the Museggmauer, a wall with nine towers, closes it to the north.
Top-ranked sights in Lucerne: Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee), Lucerne Old Town, Mt. Pilatus.
