5The Beauty of Flight
Mateo is a gem. I took the Hummingbird tour. We hit it off as soon as I got in the car. I enjoyed the many hummers and other bird and plant species . I also enjoyed just sitting quietly in Mother Nature's womb of beauty. I live here in Cali now and this will be a repeated tour Thank you for my introduction to the natural beauty in Cali. It's a must take tour.
5Surrounded by birds.
To sit and be surrounded by hummingbirds watching a huge variety of birds flying around you is a real privilege. Finca Alejandria is a great location - about an hours drive from Cali and it is definitely worth the journey if you like wild life. Okay - so the birds come for the water and fruit - but it is in a natural setting. A good trip.
5A birdwatching bonanza
This was a great experience. Cloud forest and long-established bird feeders make for easy bird watching, up close. The diversity of hummingbirds and tanagers makes for a fun time deciding where to look, where to focus and where to take the best photos. And there are many other species as well. A welcoming family, good facilities and a knowledgeable guide all added to the very positive experience.
5A must see experience!
Amazing experience. Juan Camilo is amazing. He provides so much knowledge about Cali and the history of both the area and the history of the hummingbird bird sanctuary. Very fun and safe experience. I would recommend any of juan camilo’s tours 10/10 if you visit Cali. He is simply the best.
5Lovely day at Finca Alejandria!
Great place Finca Alejandria garden is famous for attracting MANY species of exotic hummingbirds, tanagers, red headed barbet, bananaquits and more. Photographers paradise! Mateo, My guide was very knowledgeable about the area birds and nature. Unfortunately his car broke down and we had an extended stay (saw more of property but birds significantly less in outskirts) Luckily he was able to get his dad to come and drive me back to my hotel! He says it’s time for a new car!
5Best half day trip in nature to visit hummingbirds
My boyfriend and I loved this tour to observe hummingbirds! Our tour guide was kind, welcoming, and so So knowledgeable. She shared about Colombia’s biodiversity, history, culture, and geography. Seeing the birds (not only hummingbirds) was truly special and something I wish everyone could experience in their lifetime. It was one of the highlights of our trip. On the way back to Cali, we stopped to eat obleas and to visit the sweetest baby goats. It was the best! Aside from the tour, I would also want to share my appreciation for Cali Cultural Tours - even the arranging of the tour was a good experience!

About Cali
Cali, in Colombia's Valle del Cauca, is the country's salsa capital, a warm city of river parks, hill viewpoints and sugar-cane plains.
Cali lies in the wide valley of the Cauca River, with the Western Andes rising to the west. The Cali River runs through the middle of town, and the colonial San Antonio neighbourhood on its hill is full of small cafés and craft shops around a white chapel. La Ermita, a Gothic-style church beside the river, and the Cristo Rey statue on a western ridge are landmarks.
