  • 5Great Experience Bike Rentals in Downtown Sitka

I don't think I could say enough positive things about Tide Rips Adventures. From accommodating our delayed arrival to providing us with great sight seeing tips around Sikta and even a ride back to our ship, Ranier was super friendly and went above and beyond to help us. The bikes were in great condition and comfortable to ride. I wouldn't hesitate to use Tide Rips again or recommend them to others, in fact we already did.

  • 5Peaceful Solo E-Bike Ride

I booked this experience last minute and I’m so glad I did. They will provide a map and point out landmarks and suggested routes to ride. I took a lovely and peaceful ride along the gorgeous coast. Great if you’re solo or with a group!

  • 5Easy and Fun!

We enjoyed renting and riding these bikes in Sitka! Rainey did a great of showing us how to operate them, showed us many options on where to ride on a map highlighting the major points of interest, and when we were done even gave us a ride back to our ship. The bikes rode great and were easy to handle. The big tires went over everything from asphalt to rough dirt roads smoothly. The seats were comfortable. The batteries lasted longer than we did. The ride on Sitka's roads and trails was easy and safe. We really enjoyed renting and riding these bikes from "Downtown Sitka E-Bike Rentals"! We recommend them!

Our Sitka ebike rental was great! The bikes were in great condition and easy to handle. We were giving a map of the area and really good suggestions with where to ride and where to avoid riding. We had a lovely ride up to Blue Lake. Great experience. Would highly recommend!

  • 5Excellent adventure!

Renting the e-bikes was our favorite experience while cruising Alaska. The process of picking up the bikes and returning them was convenient. The owner provided a map and great advice of where to ride. We saw so many things that we would have missed if he hadn’t told us. He even gave us a ride back to the cruise terminal when we were finished.

About Sitka

Sitka is a small island town on Alaska's Pacific coast, once the capital of Russian America, with onion domes, totem poles and a sound ringed by mountains.

Sitka sits on the west coast of Baranof Island in south-east Alaska, facing the Pacific across a sound dotted with islands and overlooked by the volcanic cone of Mount Edgecumbe. It was the capital of Russian America, known as New Archangel, and in 1867 Alaska was formally transferred from Russia to the United States on Castle Hill. The onion-domed St Michael's Cathedral and the Russian Bishop's House, built in 1842, recall that past.

Top-ranked sights in Sitka: Fortress of the Bear, Alaska Raptor Center, Sitka National Historical Park.
