Here, emperors built their palaces above the city, surrounded by gardens, courtyards, and spectacular views. Your guide will reveal the myths, power struggles, and imperial lifestyles connected to this extraordinary hill. From the heights of the Hill, enjoy a bird's eye view over the Roman Forum and what is considered to have been the largest structure for public games ever built by mankind, the Circus Maximus.

5Wonderful Experience
The whole experience was just fantastic. From the communication prior to entry, to accessing the group. Our tour guide Patrick was phenomenal. Informative and humorous, he made the afternoon a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Rome

Mario was awesome! So glad we booked this tour and got to hear the history and explanation of everything we were seeing. The tour covered a lot but was engaging the entire time.

If you are interested in the history of Rome then this is a must do for you. Our guide Nicky, really brought the ruins to life it’s vivid stories and images of what it would have looked like. I really enjoyed it and then we went to the Colosseum which was spectacular. Well worth paying a bit extra to get a guided tour.
4Amazing experience, random tour guide
The experience was amazing, the meeting point was a little strange because you then proceed to walk a long ways to the forum instead of meeting there. The guide focused on some very weird and random aspects of the forum and ignored major sections.
5#1 European bucket list item Rome, Colosseum
Our guide was fabulous and extremely knowledgeable. However, when I booked the tour, I thought we were getting the underground Colosseumexperience, but that was not included. Apparently that extremely hard to get. While the tour of the forum and museum were nice. In my opinion I would’ve liked to have stayed in a Colosseum longer and also got the view the Colosseum from the second level which we didnt do. Overall, the tour was worth it. It was a bit expensive, but it was thoroughly enjoyable.
