We will do breakast Italian-style with coffee and pastries.
In this historic plaza, your guide will recount a little bit of the city's history, focusing on the legend of a courageous old sailor named Leandra, for whom the piazza is named.
Peruse the counters in this lively farmer's market as your guide explains the Italian way of shopping and all the gorgeous produce, fish, and meats.
At this legendary pizzeria -- the oldest in Civitavecchia -- we will sample a variety of pizzas, including the city's own Pizza Civitavecchiese.
We'll stop in at this little food shop to enjoy a tagliere -- a charcuterie board with local cured meats and cheeses accompanied by a glass of wine, Prosecco, or soda.
Stroll this pedestrian area with your guide and learn about the city's past and browse the shops.
Whether it's hot outside or not, you will love the cool creations at this gelateria where they make their ice cream from scratch using seasonal ingredients.

About Lake Bracciano
Lake Bracciano is a round volcanic crater lake north-west of Rome, with clear water for swimming and sailing and medieval towns on its shores.
Lake Bracciano fills an ancient volcanic crater about thirty kilometres north-west of Rome, a rounded lake with low wooded hills around it. It has long been a drinking-water reserve for Rome, so motor boats are banned and the water stays unusually clear. Small beaches line parts of the shore, and sailing, swimming and windsurfing are favourite pastimes in summer.
Top-ranked sights in Lake Bracciano: Odescalchi Castle (Castello Odescalchi).
