5Clint was an excellent...
Clint was an excellent tour guide. The Daintree Rainforest is beautiful. The varied experiences from an aboriginal greeting and educational program to cruising the Daintree River was very informative
4Done with Viator
Viator gives only one time for pick up and caused me some embarrassment as the driver blocked me from getting on his bus at 7. In front of everyone. In not a really nice way. Christine at Viator was at first confused, said your tour is tomorrow, on the 11th. I said it is the 11th in Australia. I had major injuries in June and am quite fragile emotionally so by the time I boarded my bus at 0740, I was crying. The driver and other passengers were very kind but it was mortifying. Clint, our driver and guide, was concerned and caring the entire day. The tour was great. If you notice I had lots of trouble with the Phillip Island tour just 2 weeks ago. I don't think I'll be using Viator in my next travels.
5Excellent Trip
Excellent exprience with informative and engaged guide (John) who went out of his way to make each participant feel involved. The trip includes several different experiences so this trip should appeal to everyone.
5A true must-see in Cairns
This was by far the longest day tour I’ve ever done! A huge shoutout to our driver and guide, Cheryl/Sheryl—she was so professional and knew all the absolute best spots along the way. The coastal scenery from Palm Beach up to Mossman Gorge is breathtaking. She was incredibly thoughtful, keeping us well-equipped and sharing tons of fascinating stories about the local culture and history. Tip: definitely pack your swimwear and a towel, because swimming in Mossman Gorge is an unforgettable experience!
5It is an interesting but...
It is an interesting but very long day due to the distances that have to be covered. Our tour leader Cheryl made the day for us with all of her local knowledge and keeping us on schedule.

About Cairns & the Tropical North
Cairns is the gateway to Far North Queensland, with the Great Barrier Reef offshore, Daintree rainforest to the north and the Atherton Tablelands inland.
Cairns sits on Trinity Bay between the sea and a wall of forested ranges. The Esplanade has a public saltwater swimming lagoon and a long boardwalk beside mudflats where wading birds feed, and the Botanic Gardens hold tropical plants and a rainforest boardwalk. The city is the departure point for boats to the Great Barrier Reef, including the coral cay of Green Island and the rocky Fitzroy Island, and for flights over the reef.
