5An Informative, Fun and Flavorful Tour and Wine Tasting
You’ll throughly enjoy this opportunity to experience a vineyard tour, winery tour AND wine tasting with a 4th generation member of the winery’s family. Forget those glitzy wine-tasting showrooms that corporate wineries offer. This tour takes place on the actual family estate with incredible panoramas and vistas at every turn. You’ll also learn a great deal about the wine-making process and the subtle differences between the various appellations grown in the Piedmont region. We tasted 10 different wines and enjoyed toasted hazelnuts, cake and a small charcuterie tray featuring meats and cheeses from the local area. This is an amazing tour! Don’t miss it if you’re in the Piedmont region.
5A beautiful experience!
A really nice experience learning about the different wines of Asti and learning about the production of wine, followed by a great tasting session with the most gorgeous of views! The host was also extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming! We had a really lovely time and would highly recommend this!
5Wonderful experience
We had a wonderful experience! Federico, the owner and our guide was amazing in explaining the process of wine making and patiently answering all our questions. We really enjoyed wine tasting with beautiful view of the area. We highly recommend!
5Great experience
Great experience, super friendly and very genuine contact with Federico (4th generation leading the winery) Thank you so much for welcoming us these days between Christmas and New Year!! We very much appreciated the time spend with you!! Buon ano 2025 and all the best going forward 👍👍🙋♂️🍇🍷🍷🍇🥂
5Great location & lovely wine
The views were amazing, the wines really good, Frederico was very knowledgeable and an excellent wine maker. We bought too! We have all done our WSET wine exams so it was so interesting to talk to him and discover why even northern slopes are planted, and the issues of harvest & the weather they are enduring currently - altho we did have a lovely sunny day. Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn more.
5Beautiful winery with tasty wines and friendly owner!
Beautiful location for a winery in the heart of Piedmont! Having lived in the Bay Area for several years, I've visited many wineries from San Francisco to Spain. Bussi Piero was a gem of a find! I toured with my college aged daughters and this was their first ever. The fourth generation owner was very accommodating- despite the fact that the day we visited was all Italian speakers (unusual), he did the tour and tasting in both Italian and also excellent English for me and my daughters. The wines were delicious, as were the toasted hazelnuts (this is hazelnut country, too). The tour included some bites and plenty of pours overlooking the region from this amazing vantage point. Enjoyed the reserve Nebbiolo and Barbera so much I shipped home a case to enjoy with my husband! Truly worth a stop!

About Langhe-Roero and Monferrato
The Langhe, Roero and Monferrato are the vine-covered hills of southern Piedmont, home to Barolo and Barbaresco wines, hilltop villages and white truffles.
These three areas of southern Piedmont form a landscape of rolling hills, vineyards and castle-topped villages, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2014. The Langhe, around Alba, is the home of Barolo and Barbaresco, red wines made from the nebbiolo grape. The Roero lies across the Tanaro river, and Monferrato, further east, reaches Asti and the Barbera and Moscato vineyards.
