  • 5Our Amalfi Coast tour.

Raffael Battiloro was the private tour guide for my sister (77) and I (84) on our day visit to the Amalfi Coast and he was the hi light of our trip. He was waiting for us when we got home Off the ship and was willing to do whatever or go wherever we wanted. He had many great suggestions as this was our first visit to This part of Italy and all of them were great! Raffael has a warm and welcoming personality and we became friends as soon as we began our adventure. We exchanged many personal stories about our lives and had lots of laughs the entire day. His Luncheon suggestion was the best! Our new friends back At the ship were envious of Our experience. If we ever come to Your area again we will request Raffael as he became our Italian friend, and recommend your company and him to Our friends and relatives. He is a terrific asset for your company and inn b we hated to say good bye! Thank you for providing us with your BEST guide! Linda Fernand. CT USA Debbie Sjolund. CA. USA

  • 5Excellent and great fun!

We had a fabulous day with our guide, Raffaello Bottillo. He was very knowledgeable and we had a lot of fun with him. He is a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about the area. We had a wonderful lunch at a restaurant he suggested and he was very patient waiting for us to shop. He is a great asset to your company.

  • 5Amalfi coast tour with the extraordinary Antonio!

Antonia Carola was a fantastic guide. Very clear, concise and friendly. He gave just the right amount of information along the way. Not overwhelming especially early in the morning. He handled the different personalities on board with professionalism. He also shared some amazing recommendations! 5 stars!

About Salerno

Salerno is a port city at the eastern end of the Amalfi Coast, with a Norman cathedral, a palm-lined seafront and a castle on the hill above.

Salerno curves around a gulf with a long palm-lined waterfront, the Lungomare, and a medieval centre of narrow lanes behind it. The cathedral, begun in the eleventh century under the Norman duke Robert Guiscard, has an arcaded atrium and a tall bell tower, and the city was home to the Schola Medica Salernitana, one of the earliest medical schools in Europe. Above, Arechi Castle looks out over the bay.

Top-ranked sights in Salerno: Archaeological Park of Paestum (Parco Archeologico di Paestum), Salerno Cathedral (Duomo di Salerno).
