Itinerary

  1. Pompeii is the most stunning archaeological site on the Italian Peninsula and one of the most visited. The ruins of Pompeii are an open air museum where visitors can go back in time and discover a city that had been buried in ashes until 1748. Visitors experience the city much as it existed more than 2000 years ago.

    2 h

  2. From Conca dei Marini, guests enjoy one of the most spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast and the island of Capri, along with the best authentic, handmade, and homemade local cuisine.

    1 h

  3. Amalfi. The gem of Amalfi is the oldest of Italy’s maritime republics. Whitewashed homes dotting the hillside are illuminated by the abundant sunshine that bathes the city. The basilica’s cupola is a reference to the Sicilian-Arabic influence that once dominated the area. For centuries it has been a popular destination due to its natural beauty and ideal climate.

About Salerno

Salerno is a port city at the eastern end of the Amalfi Coast, with a Norman cathedral, a palm-lined seafront and a castle on the hill above.

Salerno curves around a gulf with a long palm-lined waterfront, the Lungomare, and a medieval centre of narrow lanes behind it. The cathedral, begun in the eleventh century under the Norman duke Robert Guiscard, has an arcaded atrium and a tall bell tower, and the city was home to the Schola Medica Salernitana, one of the earliest medical schools in Europe. Above, Arechi Castle looks out over the bay.
