Highlights
The after dark feeding tour is an experience that is unique to Devils@Cradle. This tour provides an unforgettable experience, and the opportunity to observe these extraordinary animals whilst one of our keepers gives you a greater understanding of them, and details the conservation work being undertaken within the facility. Devils and quolls are primarily nocturnal species, therefore are far more active at night, and the introduction of food generally stimulates some fierce competition between them. We use environmentally sensitive lighting and focus on the social interactions and feeding habits of these unique carnivores, allowing visitors a rare up close opportunity of seeing Tasmanian devils in a group feeding situation - quite a spectacular sight!

5Amazing experience
Such an incredible experience! Our guide was extremely passionate and knowledgeable, making it so fascinating to learn more about the incredible Tasmanian Devils. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area—an unforgettable experience from start to finish!
5Conservation-focused operation and super cool DEVILS!
Absolutely brilliant. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and pitched her talk to the level within the group. The work the sanctuary does is really interesting, and we were very happy to support it with the fee we paid. We were not hurried or rushed, and were treated well. We did 'Dessert with the Devils' and the treats and drinks were great, as was the lovely fire to stand around. The Devils are absolutely amazing to see and be able to watch - they are well worth the tour all by themselves!! We loved them. A high-end operation, and I hope they are able to begin reintroductions for the Devils in the near future.
5Desert with Devils- sweet experience
Wonderful experience. Zoey was knowledgeable, passionate and a generous tour host as amazing to learn about the quolls and devils. We even got visits from the pademelons and possums. We had the Desert with Devils experience- and sharing this around the campfire while watching the jr devils play was incredible.

About Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park
Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park is Tasmania's alpine heartland, with jagged dolerite peaks, glacial lakes and the Overland Track.
The park lies in the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, about 160 km north-west of Hobart in a straight line. At its northern end, Cradle Mountain rises to 1,545 metres above Dove Lake, where a path and boardwalk circle the water beneath the serrated peaks. At the southern end, Lake St Clair, the deepest freshwater lake in Australia, fills a glacial trough.
