5Fabulous cookery evening with Alessandro
What a fantastic experience! Alessandro was a fabulous host for our cookery class. It turned out that it was just two of us for his class which made it a really intimate and personal evening. The food we cooked was so tasty and plentiful - we were absolutely stuffed by the end of the night. The caipirinha’s were free flowing too! Highly recommend this experience - we absolutely loved our time in Alessandro’s company.
5Amazing!
We had a great experience with chef Alessandro! He was very friendly and told us a lot of interesting facts about the Brazilian kitchen and culture. We made several amazing dishes, for us the fish moqueca stood out the most, this was delicious!
5Amazing! From Nico and Alyssa
Such an incredible experience. Alessandro is such a kind and talented person, very thorough with instructions and very knowledgeable in the history of every ingredient and recipe you’ll make. My partner and I had the most wonderful time and highly recommend meeting Alessandro to anyone!

About Florianópolis
Florianópolis, capital of Santa Catarina, sits mostly on a long island of beaches, lagoons, dunes and old Azorean fishing villages.
Most of the city spreads over Santa Catarina Island, joined to the mainland by bridges, among them the Hercílio Luz suspension bridge, the city's emblem. The old centre has a 19th-century public market, a cathedral on the main square and low colonial houses. Portuguese settlers from the Azores arrived in the 18th century, and their descendants shaped the fishing villages and white churches around the island.
