Experience the best of Ezeiza

Ezeiza is a district of Buenos Aires Province, lying south-west of the capital on the open grassland typical of the Pampas. The land is flat with few trees, and low houses and warehouses spread along the roads. Most people know the place through its airport, which handles the capital's international flights.

The city centre lies about 30 kilometres to the north-east, and the drive can take an hour or more when traffic is heavy. Beyond the airport the countryside is cattle country, with farms, small towns and wide skies. Most trips from here go into Buenos Aires, whose museums, markets and cafés fill most visitors' days.

Argentine food is built on beef, and the parrillas of Buenos Aires serve asado, grilled cuts with chimichurri, alongside empanadas and dulce de leche. Malbec from Mendoza is the everyday red. The Pampas are pleasant in autumn and spring, while summers are hot and humid and the open plains can be windy.
