Itinerary
Meeting point and check-in under our blue and white "Positano Boats" gazebo, located at the main Beach of Positano "Spiaggia Grande". We suggest coming 10 minutes before the tour's departure, forecast at 9.00 am in Positano. There is also the possibility of departure from Praiano: from la Gavitella beach or from Marina di Praia beach.
On your journey to Capri, you will come across the White Grotto, where it will be possible to stop to take some photos and, if the sea conditions are good, your sailor will show you around the grotto by entering the fantastic all-white cavity with the bow of the boat.
Your tour of the island of Capri will continue admiring and passing through the historic Natural Arch.
During the cruise along Capri’s coastline, you will admire the iconic Villa Malaparte, one of the island’s most unique and captivating private residences. Perched dramatically on a rocky cliff overlooking the sea, this extraordinary villa is a masterpiece of modern architecture, perfectly blended with the surrounding wild landscape. Built in the 1930s by the writer Curzio Malaparte, the villa is renowned for its striking geometric design and its monumental staircase leading to a panoramic rooftop terrace, offering breathtaking views over the crystal-clear waters. Accessible only by sea or via a scenic path, it remains one of Capri’s most exclusive and photographed landmarks.
You will pass under the Faraglioni rocks, one of the most romantic sceneries of Capri. Where you can take some photos, videos and be enchanted by the landscape.
Historic switchback paved footpath visible from the water near Marina Piccola.
Once we arrive at Marina Piccola, you will have approximately 4 hours of free time to explore Capri at your own pace. You may enjoy a refreshing swim at Marina Piccola beach, visit the town center and its famous Piazzetta, discover the Gardens of Augustus, walk along Via Krupp, stroll through the charming streets, browse elegant Italian boutiques, or simply relax and soak in the atmosphere. You will also have plenty of time to enjoy a meal on the island. Please note that lunch is not included in the price of the experience; however, if you would like recommendations, our skipper will be happy to suggest some excellent local restaurants. Before disembarking, the captain will provide you with all the details regarding the meeting point and the exact boarding time for your return.
Back on board again, if the sea allows it and under the advice of your sailor, you will approach the magical green grotto to admire the crystal clear water.
You will pass through the Punta Carena and its Lighthouse, which is located at the southwestern end of the island of Capri.
Our boat will stop at the entrance of the cave, where you will transfer to a small rowing boat operated by the Cooperative Battellieri of Capri, the only ones authorized to allow access inside. The visit to the Blue Grotto is not always guaranteed, as the cave's opening depends on weather and sea conditions. During high season, waiting times can be quite long, often around 20–30 minutes or more. For this reason, the visit to the Blue Grotto is a decision made collectively by all guests on board. Please note that the entrance ticket for the grotto is not included in the tour price and can be purchased directly on site.
You will admire the village of Marina Grande and its colourful houses, shops and boats from the Gozzo.
On the way back to Positano* you can stop for a relaxing swim in the waters of a beautiful bay, with clean and crystalline water, which the skipper will accurately suggest. *If you have chosen to depart from Praiano, you could get off there once the tour will end. Please note that the itinerary may change in terms of the weather and sea conditions, or for other causes. There is the option to go around the whole island and then go off to visit the island itself.

4We loved our boat guide,...
We loved our boat guide, Fausto, and all the activities and sites we saw from the boat, but we were not impressed with the island of Capri. It is very crowded, touristy and expensive. If we did a tour like this, we would skip the island and just do a boat tour and activities (swimming, snorkeling. Prosecco and limoncello). The water and weather were perfect!
5Escape the crowds and enjoy a small group boat tour
We thoroughly enjoyed our small group trip from Positano to Capri. We shied at several grottos along the way and had a beautiful ride to Capri. Our guide Francesco made sure both the front and back of the boat had turns for beautiful photographs and also took the time to separately speak with both groups when telling us about different sights we were seeing. I would recommend this trip. After Al life crowds in general, having a smaller planned day was very much appreciated!
5Had a fantastic time with...
Had a fantastic time with Fausto as our captain and had a great group of people on board. Worth every dollar/euro. Perfect day at sea and Capri with a swim at the end to top it off.
48 hour Isle of Capri Tour
Beautiful boat ride and friendly and knowledgeable captain. Water is rough though. Two plus hour wait to take ride through the grotto. (This would be a separate tour). Capri is small. Pretty but 4 hours is way too long to stay. Taxi and buses up to top were 100 person long. Tram was much easier. You can walk it up steps but better be in shape. Hindsight, we could have just done a boat ride around the isle with a quick swim.
5Excellent Day Trip
Our guide was Francesco. He was fabulous. The day was amazing, and Francesco the boat driver was excellent he took us very close into the caves. After spending some time on capri we came back to a spot where we anchored and swam. It was such a fabulous day, I highly recommend it.
4Very professional and...
Very professional and planned out well, get 4 hours at Capri which is plenty and taken to all the main spots. The boat is comfortable but the sea was a little rough for us so was a bit of a bumpy ride but that’s what you get with a smaller vessel. Great amount of people as max of 12.

About Positano
Positano tumbles down a steep hillside to the sea on the Amalfi Coast, a vertical village of pastel houses, bougainvillea and boat-filled coves.
The village spills from the mountainside to the Spiaggia Grande, its main beach, in a cascade of pink, peach and yellow houses linked by stairways. The majolica-tiled dome of the Church of Santa Maria Assunta glints above the shore, and narrow lanes are lined with boutiques selling linen, handmade sandals and ceramics.
Top-ranked sights in Positano: Spiaggia Grande, Church of Santa Maria Assunta (Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta), Fornillo Beach.
