  • 5Our tour guide was...

Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and did a fantastic job making sure we were all accounted for and gave us the tour effectively. The tour itself through the Vatican is a bit of a grind as there are a tremendous amount of people and at times you feel like you’re rushing to see everything but again it’s a tour to get you the highlights if you want to in depth, I would recommend going solo.

  • 5Basilica and Vatican Tour

I did the Vatican and basilica tour and I recommend! The date we scheduled the basilica was going to close, so they messaged to reschedule us early so we were able to see it, it was perfect and we worth it. Alex was a great guide and willing to answer any questions!

  • 1Skip this tour, save your money

Tour guide left without us. We had no guidance on where to pick up ticket with the voucher we were emailed. We called the number on the voucher and explained we were having trouble locating the pick up area and they were not very helpful or accommodating. We asked a few people who looked like they worked there, but they couldn't tell us where the pick up point was. So, we ended up paying $320.46

  • 4Overall a good experience!!!

The actual experience was very good. At times because of the crowd, our guide got a little too far ahead of us and it was difficult if not impossible to hear what she was saying. She was however very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. We enjoyed it very much!!

About Vatican City

Vatican City is a tiny independent state inside Rome, home of St Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums and Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel.

Vatican City is an independent state of less than half a square kilometre, enclosed by walls inside Rome on the west bank of the Tiber, and the smallest country in the world. It is the seat of the Catholic Church and the home of the pope. St Peter's Square, framed by Bernini's curving colonnades, leads to St Peter's Basilica, built over the traditional tomb of the apostle Peter, with Michelangelo's dome rising above and his Pietà inside.
