Our guide, Holly, was very personable, knowledgeable, professional and fun. Learned so much and enjoyed the back stories
3Excellent tour but difficult to change things with viator
The guide was fantastic and she made the tour very interesting. It’s a terrific way to see the highlights of the museum. However I booked for 6 and 2 of our party fell ill and returned home. I tried to cancel the two tickets 4 days before the tour with Viator in the US and was told the website wasn’t working. Contact local operator in Amsterdam. I did and she said she would do it and call me back but never did. I won’t use viator again because who wants to spend hours on phone when on holiday.

5Enjoyed our tour
Yimen was an excellent guide who made our Rijksmuseum tour truly enjoyable. She explained everything in great detail and brought the artworks to life by sharing fascinating stories about the artists, the historical era, the city, and Dutch culture. Her knowledge and engaging storytelling made the tour both informative and interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend this tour!

About Amsterdam
Amsterdam rings its golden-age centre with tree-lined canals, gabled houses and bridges, packing great art and easy cycling into a compact city.
The canal ring, dug in the seventeenth century, curves around the old centre in concentric arcs: Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht, lined with tall merchants' houses. The Jordaan, just west, is a maze of small canals, courtyards, brown cafés and independent shops, and the Anne Frank House stands on the Prinsengracht at its edge.
Top-ranked sights in Amsterdam: Amstel River, Skinny Bridge (Magere Brug), Anne Frank House.
