Itinerary
we will depart from your pick up about 3hous and 30 minutes drive
As we travel from Cape Agulhas, we will stop in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley just inland from Hermanus. This valley is known for its wineries, and we recommend a tasting at either Creation Wine Estate or Hamilton Russell Vineyards. Hermanus is also a prime spot for whale watching during the season from June to November, so keep an eye out for southern right whales along the coastline. For lunch, the seaside restaurants in Hermanus offer scenic views and delicious cuisine. Let us know if you would like assistance booking a restaurant reservation.
On our return trip to Cape Town from Hermanus and Cape Agulhas, we will stop at Stony Point Penguin Colony to visit these charming sea birds. Stony Point hosts one of the largest penguin colonies in South Africa.
On a day trip to Cape Agulhas from Cape Town, walk along the pathway to where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans officially meet. Stand with one foot in each ocean for a fun photo opportunity at the southernmost tip of Africa. Also explore one of South Africa's oldest lighthouses, situated right in Cape Agulhas. This excursion makes for a memorable experience during your Cape Town vacation.

About Cape Town
Cape Town spreads between Table Mountain and the sea, a striking city of beaches, vineyards, penguins and history near Africa's southwestern tip.
Table Mountain's flat summit looms over everything, reached by cableway or by hiking trails, with Lion's Head and Signal Hill flanking it. Below, the V&A Waterfront bustles around the working harbour, and boats leave from there for Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was held for eighteen years. The colourful houses of Bo-Kaap climb the slopes above the city centre and the Company's Garden.
Top-ranked sights in Cape Town: Boulders Beach, Cape of Good Hope, Chapman’s Peak Drive.
