This river-landscape tour is completed with a coffee-break at a nice local spot, tasting home-made icecream at a farm and enjoying a snack in the fields. 5Exceeded Our Expectations
What a great tour. We rode e-bikes all over the beautiful Kinderdijk area. The pastoral setting was exquisite. We had great views of the UNESCO World Heritage windmills, toured a working windmill, enjoyed the besutiful countryside, ate lunch at a quaint little cafe off the beaten path, and visited a small, working cheese factory. Our guide Arjan was fabulous. He is also a volunteer guide at the UNESCO site, so he was extremely knowledgeable about the windmills. He has lived in the area for many years. So he was sble to tell us a lit about the area. His English was excellent. Our group was all in our 60s and 70s. Arjan was very patient with us.
3Kinderdyjk biking tour.
Unfortunately we were not picked up at the meeting point. There was a miscommunication on the part of the operator. He was as helpful as he could be, and although we were unable to tour with him he gave us helpful suggestions and refunded our tickets immediately.
5Fantastic, authentic and personalized tour
This was a wonderful tour! We enjoyed every minute of it, even the traditional Dutch rain. 😉 The two gentlemen at the mill were fabulous. They were so kind and interactive with my teenage son (who is very hard to engage) and I am still fascinated by how the mill functions and how much work it is to operate! We also very much enjoyed the lunch stop, and the stop at the dairy. Our guide was very informative and just the perfect amount of friendly - never inauthentic or overbearing. It was a very memorable and authentic experience. Taking the Tour by bicycle was definitely the way to go. It made it even more authentic, and the ride was easy.
5Kinderdijk windmills and bike trails
We had an amazing time on Kinderdijk. Marco was very accommodating and arranged timing from the celebrity cruise terminal. He helped me arranged a surprise breakfast for my wife on her birthday. The electric bikes were the right way to go. Bring your rain coats!!! He takes some time to respond to questions, seems like he runs a one man show
5A lovely day at Unesco Kinderdijk and Surrounding Areas.
We had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute. The guide, Arjan, went above and beyond to ensure that we experience a real Dutch experience. Very well organized, explanations, frequent stops for explanations, lunch at a lovely local windmill. Highly recommend the tour operator, the guide and the whole experience.
5Magical Tour
Amazing tour! Great way to see the windmills and the countryside. Marco does a great job making sure you see it all!!! The tour of the actual windmill is so interesting. And then biking further out and having lunch was magical. This is a great tour with families. We used an E bike which made biking very easy. I highly recommend this.

About Rotterdam
Rotterdam is a modern Dutch port city rebuilt after 1940, known for bold architecture, a huge harbour, the Cube Houses, a market hall and waterfront views.
Rotterdam was bombed in May 1940 and rebuilt in a modern style, so it is unlike the old canal towns of the Netherlands: glass towers, bridges and daring architecture line the Nieuwe Maas river, which is crossed by the white Erasmus Bridge. It has Europe's largest seaport, and the harbour can be toured by boat. Delfshaven, a small quarter of old canals that survived the bombs, is where the Pilgrim Fathers left in 1620.
Top-ranked sights in Rotterdam: Markthal (Market Hall) , Church of St. Lawrence (Sint Laurenskerk), Erasmusbrug (Erasmus Bridge).
