5Great way to see important sites in Sicily with an excellent guide!
Umberto was an excellent tour guide: very knowledgeable, very accommodating. He taught us a lot about Castelbuono and gave us some useful tips for Cefalu. Overall an excellent tour.

We had a wonderful time in this tour. Our guide Umberto was fantastic. Friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend
5Our guide, Umberto, was...
Our guide, Umberto, was amazing! He drove, spoke English and explained everything in detail along the way as well as when we were in Castlebuono. Castlebuono was worth the journey, a very picturesque town on the top of a mountain with a castle. Great little shops . Also Cephalu is a must see. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone staying in Palermo!
5Absolutely amazing cefálu and monreale
Our guide Umberto was the best- so very knowledgeable about the history - do not SKIP the Cathedral in Monreale
4Go see these historic towns, but a small group option may be better
We really enjoyed seeing Castelbuono and Cefalu. You could almost feel the history in the air in both towns. Castelbuono was quiet and nestled in the mountains - definitely ask to stop on the road and take pictures. We got to tour the 14th century castle and walk around the cobblestone streets. They have a very old family-run Panatone shop there as well, so we got some nice souvenirs. Cefalu was where we had our best meal on our two-week trip to Italy - Le Chat Noir. Definitely stop there! There were also a lot of cute shops with local artisans, and the beach was beautiful. I would have loved to stay in Cefalu overnight. Our driver was very kind and made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour. He walked around with us in Castelbuono and provided some information in both towns. I'm not sure we needed to do this as a private tour - I think a small group would have been just as nice and probably more cost effective. But I am glad we got to see these towns and, again, our driver was very nice.
5Amazing!
Amazing! Please book this trip. Our host Umberto was not only knowledgeable, accommodating but also went above and beyond in or opinion. We could not have asked for more. A great excursion to beautiful places in north sicily. A hidden gem tour! Thank you so much. We loved our day
