Itinerary
You'll start with a timed entry to the Florence Accademia, home to Michelangelo's David. Discover what makes David so special and introduce you to other Michelangelo works that you may not have noticed otherwise.

You'll also see the Florence Baptistery, home to the set of bronze doors that were thought so beautiful, Michelangelo called them the "Gates of Paradise"
Your guided walking tour continues to Piazza della Signoria, an open-air art gallery where Michelangelo's David was originally supposed to stand.
Experience the endless charm of Florence and the remarkable Ponte Vecchio.
From Piazza Signoria you'll pass by a handful of wonderful hidden sights, like Il Porcellino, the pig whose snout promises luck.

About Florence
Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, gathers masterpieces of art and architecture into a compact city of stone streets beside the Arno.
The Duomo, with Brunelleschi's great red-brick dome, Giotto's bell tower and the Baptistery's gilded doors, marks the centre of town. A few streets away, Piazza della Signoria and the Palazzo Vecchio face a loggia full of sculpture, and the Uffizi Gallery holds Botticelli, Leonardo and Raphael. Michelangelo's David stands in the Galleria dell'Accademia.
