  • 5Costa Rica: Adventure Has No Age!

The four of us, two senior couples, had an amazing day exploring Costa Rica! From learning about coffee and sugarcane to horseback riding (our favorite surprise!), every moment was memorable. While two of us skipped zip-lining, our relatives loved the thrill! We also crossed a hanging bridge, spotted monkeys, admired waterfalls, relaxed in thermal pools, and enjoyed a volcanic mud bath, followed by a delicious local lunch. A special thank-you to the wonderful staff, especially Swiss-born Adrian (I hope I got his name right!), whose warmth and enthusiasm made our day extra special. Highly recommended for all ages! A perfect blend of culture, adventure, nature, and relaxation. You're never too old to have fun!

  • 3Never received pictures

Tour was great but DO NOT do pictures. We never received our pictures even after numerous emails. The pictures were supposed to be sent via email but nothing.

  • 5Fantastic day jampacked with fun!

Fabulous day -- ziplining through 8 courses; horseback riding; the 1/4-mile-long winding and super-fast water slide that tried to kill me but didn't LOL; waterfalls; pretty paved paths; cultural sampling -- a full and satisfying day -- thanks!

About Liberia

Liberia, nicknamed the White City, is the whitewashed capital of Guanacaste in north-west Costa Rica, a ranching town near volcanoes and Pacific beaches.

Liberia is the main town of Guanacaste, the dry north-west of Costa Rica, and gets its nickname, the White City, from its whitewashed colonial houses and the white gravel once laid on its streets. Cattle ranching shaped the province and its cowboys, the sabaneros, still ride the open plains. Low houses and a simple town square give the centre a provincial feel, and the airport brings travellers into the whole region.
