Please arrive around 10-15 minutes before your meeting time to avoid any delays.

    5 min

  2. Dive into the Demilitarized Zone in South Korea on this DMZ Tour from Seoul. Explore one of the world’s most heavily fortified borders that has divided North and South Korea since the 1953 armistice. Experience the tense 4km-wide buffer zone, observe North Korean territory from viewpoints, visit historic sites like the Third Tunnel and Dora Observatory, and feel the eerie stillness of this frozen conflict line. PLUS AN ALL EXCLUSIVE visit to the JSA Experience Museum!!

    30 minAdmission included

  3. Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park marks the symbolic entrance to the DMZ, with peace monuments, unification sculptures, and open lawns reflecting hopes for Korean reconciliation. Visitors walk among memorials and enjoy scenic river views. It opened in 2005 following the World Peace Festival to promote peace and unity.

    40 min

  4. The Bridge of Freedom is the historic railway bridge over the Imjin River where 12,773 Korean War POWs returned home in 1953 after the armistice. View the preserved section with bullet-scarred remnants and attached messages of hope. It stands as a powerful symbol of liberation and enduring division.

    30 min

  5. The Unification Bridge crosses the Imjin River, symbolizing hopes for reconnection between North and South Korea. Tour participants cross it by bus after a military checkpoint to reach deeper restricted-access sites within the DMZ. It is nicknamed "Cow Bridge" because Hyundai founder Chung Ju-yung drove 1001 cows across it to North Korea in 1998 as a gesture of goodwill and business outreach.

    10 minAdmission included

  6. One of the main highlights of the tour is The Third Tunnel of Aggression, also known as The Third Infiltration Tunnel, and is a North Korean-dug infiltration tunnel discovered in 1978, capable of moving up to 30,000 troops per hour toward Seoul. Descend to walk inside (wearing hard hats) and view its scale, or simply look around outside if you are claustrophobic or cannot handle steep inclines. It remains one of four known invasion tunnels under the border.

    1 hAdmission included

  7. Dora Observatory is the closest viewpoint to North Korea in the DMZ, offering binoculars to spot Kaesong city, propaganda signs, and guard posts. Visitors gaze northward from the 500-seat facility. It provides the clearest civilian glimpse into North Korean territory from South Korea.

    1 hAdmission included

  8. Tongilchon (Unification Village) is a peaceful farming community just outside the DMZ, home to around 480 residents growing high-quality produce like soybeans, rice and ginseng. Explore the village and shop for local specialties. Residents, often from divided families, receive special benefits for living in this frontline area.

    20 min

  9. This exclusive JSA Experience through the JSA Museum is available only to travelers on your tour. Through immersive visual and audio exhibits, visitors can explore the history of the Korean War and gain a realistic glimpse of the Joint Security Area (JSA). The museum also features a JSA-style space that recreates a currently closed area to the public, offering a unique and engaging DMZ experience you cannot get on other DMZ tours.

    30 minAdmission included

  10. (Optional) Meet a real North Korean defector for an unforgettable, in-person conversation about life inside one of the world's most secretive regimes. Hear their firsthand account of daily survival under the regime, the courageous decision to flee, and the harrowing journey to freedom. This rare and deeply personal encounter puts a human face on a divided nation, turning the DMZ from a place you observe into a story you truly understand. You'll also have the chance to ask your own questions in an open Q&A session, gaining insights you simply won't find in any book, film, or news report.

    30 minAdmission included

  11. (Optional included in "JSA Museum & DMZ Tour + Bridge" and "Best DMZ Package (All Options)" add-on option) Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge AKA the Red Suspension Bridge is a thrilling towerless suspension footbridge swaying 150 meters across a valley near the DMZ. Walk its length for stunning mountain and nature views. It is South Korea's longest bridge of its type, harmoniously blending with the surrounding landscape. Located in the Civilian Control Line area, it offers a rare peaceful experience just steps from the tense border zone. The site commemorates fierce Korean War battles, including the heroic but tragic stand of the Gloucestershire Regiment's 1st Battalion against overwhelming Chinese forces in 1951.

    1 hAdmission included

  12. Drop-off location 1: Hop off at Hongdae Station for Seoul’s liveliest youth district, buzzing with street art, live busking, indie cafes, and quirky boutiques. Built around Hongik University, it’s the epicenter of K-indie music, graffiti culture, and late-night street eats like hotteok and spicy rice cakes.

  • 5Good Tour, Great Tour Guide

Nancy was a very friendly and helpful tour guide. She kept things interesting and ensured that everyone understood how the day would be structured along with when and where the best times were to buy souvenirs. She was happy to give advice and suggestions, even for things unrelated to the tour such as places to go in Seoul. Overall good experience, from seeing the other tours happening at the same time as ours we definitely picked the best tour guide in Nancy.

About Seoul

Royal palaces and hanok villages sit among glass towers, buzzing markets and late-night food streets in Seoul, South Korea's capital.

Five grand palaces from the Joseon dynasty grace the city, led by Gyeongbokgung, with its colourful changing of the guard, and Changdeokgung, whose Secret Garden is a serene escape. Between them, Bukchon Hanok Village preserves traditional tiled-roof houses on sloping lanes, and Insadong is known for tea houses, galleries and crafts.
