    5 min

  11. Marina Piccola is a small, picturesque beach on the southern coast of Capri, known for its crystal-clear waters and stunning views of the Faraglioni rocks. It's a peaceful spot, perfect for swimming and relaxing, with a charming, laid-back atmosphere. About Sorrento

Sorrento perches on cliffs above the Bay of Naples, a charming lemon-scented town that makes an easy base for Capri, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast.

The town's centre is Piazza Tasso, from which narrow lanes run past churches, shops selling limoncello and inlaid woodwork, and the peaceful cloister of San Francesco. Steps and lifts lead down the cliffs to Marina Piccola, where the boats leave, and to Marina Grande, a fishing harbour with seafood restaurants right by the water.

Top-ranked sights in Sorrento: Marina Grande, Baths of Queen Giovanna (Bagni Regina Giovanna), Praiano.
