Cape Peninsula Day Tour Cape Point Penguins and Chapman's Peak

Boulders Beach

  • 9 hours
  • Free cancellation up to 24h before
  • Guided in English
  • Instant confirmation

Highlights

We run the Peninsula in a 13-seater minibus with a registered local guide who lives in Cape Town, not a 60-seat coach. Small groups mean we reach Hout Bay and Boulders ahead of the crowds, and there is time to walk and look rather than just photograph from the roadside. You choose between a seat on the shared departure or the whole vehicle to yourselves.

    30 min

  2. One of the finest coastal roads in the country - 114 bends blasted into the cliff face between Hout Bay and Noordhoek. We stop at the viewpoints for photographs. The toll is covered in your fare.

  4. Ride the Flying Dutchman funicular or walk the path up to the old lighthouse for views over False Bay and the Atlantic. There is time for lunch at the restaurant or a guided walk down to the Cape of Good Hope.

About Cape Town

Cape Town spreads between Table Mountain and the sea, a striking city of beaches, vineyards, penguins and history near Africa's southwestern tip.

Table Mountain's flat summit looms over everything, reached by cableway or by hiking trails, with Lion's Head and Signal Hill flanking it. Below, the V&A Waterfront bustles around the working harbour, and boats leave from there for Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was held for eighteen years. The colourful houses of Bo-Kaap climb the slopes above the city centre and the Company's Garden.

Top-ranked sights in Cape Town: Boulders Beach, Cape of Good Hope, Chapman’s Peak Drive.
