Itinerary
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Cape Town to the reserve, located in the Karoo landscape less than two hours from the city. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a refreshing drink before heading out on a guided 2–3 hour open-vehicle safari led by an experienced ranger. During the game drive, travelers will explore the 10,000-hectare reserve while learning about the local ecosystem and conservation efforts. While traversing the rugged terrain, visitors have the opportunity to spot the famous Big Five — lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard — along with other wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, antelope, and a variety of bird species. The ranger will share fascinating insights about the animals, their behavior, and the unique Karoo environment.
The journey continues to the nearby Cape Winelands for a wine tasting experience at a renowned local estate. Here, guests sample a selection of premium South African wines — including reds, whites, and sometimes dessert wines — often paired with artisanal cheeses. The tasting takes place against the backdrop of vineyards and mountain scenery, offering a relaxed and authentic taste of the region’s wine culture.

About Cape Town
Cape Town spreads between Table Mountain and the sea, a striking city of beaches, vineyards, penguins and history near Africa's southwestern tip.
Table Mountain's flat summit looms over everything, reached by cableway or by hiking trails, with Lion's Head and Signal Hill flanking it. Below, the V&A Waterfront bustles around the working harbour, and boats leave from there for Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was held for eighteen years. The colourful houses of Bo-Kaap climb the slopes above the city centre and the Company's Garden.
Top-ranked sights in Cape Town: Boulders Beach, Cape of Good Hope, Chapman’s Peak Drive.
