Highlights

A great way to discover both historic Amsterdam and the real Amsterdam with all it's multi-cultural diversity.most of the time we will be using separate bike lanes: a very safe way of seeing our city, instead of just highlights and other tourists... You will understand why and how Amsterdam was built the way it looks today and back in the day. My style of guiding is best explained by the word "infotainment"; in the end I want you to have fun but you are also entitled to the facts and correct stats and numbers.

About Amsterdam

Amsterdam rings its golden-age centre with tree-lined canals, gabled houses and bridges, packing great art and easy cycling into a compact city.

The canal ring, dug in the seventeenth century, curves around the old centre in concentric arcs: Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht, lined with tall merchants' houses. The Jordaan, just west, is a maze of small canals, courtyards, brown cafés and independent shops, and the Anne Frank House stands on the Prinsengracht at its edge.

Top-ranked sights in Amsterdam: Amstel River, Skinny Bridge (Magere Brug), Anne Frank House.
