Highlights

Deemed by UNESCO as an outstanding example of a Mediterranean landscape, the Amalfi Coast is a beguiling combination of great beauty and gripping drama: coastal mountains plunge into the sea in a stunning vertical scene of precipitous crags, picturesque towns and lush forests. Among the glittering string of coastal gems, legendary Positano and Amalfi sparkle the brightest, while mountain top Ravello has the glossy fame of its grandiose villas and Wagnerian connection.

Itinerary

  1. You will be provided with an English speaking driver for transportation service, and, on your request, a private guide, for the whole day. The driver will be waiting for you at prearranged pick up point.. First stop: Positano (approx. 1-hour) Positano is the coast’s most picturesque and photogenic town, with steeply-stacked houses tumbling down to the sea in a cascade of sun - bleached peach , pink and terracotta colours . No less colourful are its steep streets and steps lined with wisteria - draped hotels , smart restaurants and fashionable boutiques .

    8 h

  2. Once in Positano, you will be left free time to visit this small town that was once a fishing village. You will be able to walk along the characteristic alleys lined with lovely little shops living the magical atmosphere of a place that today is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.

    1 h

  3. A thousand-year history, based, for the most part, on naval abilities. An equally ancient cathedral, which is the result of the fusion of many architectural styles. Today, what was one of the most powerful and wealthy cities in medieval Italy is a small city that you can visit and be enchanted by.

    45 min

  4. Mysterious, medieval, fascinating, breathtaking, these are just some of the adjectives that you can use to describe the beauty of this place, with its two villas, its cathedral, the lovely little square and the many small shops selling local handicrafts and souvenirs.

About Naples

Passionate and chaotic beneath Vesuvius, Naples is the birthplace of pizza and the gateway to Pompeii, Capri and the Amalfi Coast.

The historic centre, a dense grid of streets laid out by the ancient Greeks, is a world of churches, street shrines and laundry strung between balconies. Spaccanapoli cuts straight through it, Via San Gregorio Armeno is lined with nativity-scene workshops, and the Sansevero Chapel holds the astonishing Veiled Christ. Underground, tunnels and cisterns reveal the Greek and Roman city below.

Top-ranked sights in Naples: Mt. Vesuvius (Monte Vesuvio), Via dei Tribunali, Naples Historic Center (Napoli Centro Storico).
