Hello from Cyprus Taste Tours! We're a friendly team of locals all with Cypriot heritage. A group of true foodies, our activities focus on discovering Cyprus through food & wine... There's nothing like tasting fresh, warm halloumi straight out of the pot and on this small group tour there'll be plenty to enjoy throughout the day! You'll be picked up from a Limassol location of your choice and driven into the Troodos mountain countryside to the cheese-making workshop of a village local. You’ll take part in the process from start to finish and the experience will end with a delicious brunch which will include the cheeses made plus lots more. The activities don't end there as you'll be taken further into the mountain villages to visit other local producers and the quaint village of Lefkara or Omodos (village visited will depend on our route on your specific tour date). About Limassol
Limassol is Cyprus's second city and main port, with a medieval castle, a long seafront, wine villages in the hills and Roman ruins close by.
Limassol sits on the south coast of Cyprus, a port city with a modern waterfront of towers and marinas beside an old town of narrow lanes. The medieval castle near the old harbour is traditionally linked with the wedding of Richard the Lionheart and Berengaria of Navarre in 1191. The Molos promenade runs for kilometres along the shore through gardens, and the central market sells fruit, fish and spices.
