Highlights
Titanic Trail Guided Walking Tour of Cobh Operating daily since 1998, this 1 hour gentle stroll through the heritage town of Cobh explores the diverse and magnificent history of Cork harbour, its environs and the architecturally preserved streetscape. The engaging narrative brings together the amazing maritime, emigrant and social history of the area. Cobh was the main departure point for millions of Irish emigrants to the US. It was the last port of call for RMS Titanic, it received the victims and survivors after the sinking of the Lusitania during the first world war. Over many centuries, the invasions, departures, arrivals and utilisation of the port by many different peoples have crafted a fascinating story that will enthral and engage the visitor no matter what their interests. Created by the renowned Dr Michael Martin, this tour will bring you new knowledge and fascinating insights into world stories in the environment in which they were created.

5Cobh Insights
Had a great hour touring Cobh with our host Dennis. Thanks to the whole team at the Titanic Trail for a pleasurable experience.
5Do this walking tour or miss out on extra information.
Today I went on a walking tour around Cobh with Dennis McCarthy who is ( whether or not he thinks so) is extremely knowledgeable about not only Cobh but the Titanic. He gave alot of information but at a reasonable pace,he was very pleasant and good humoured and everyone in Cobh seemed to know him(even his wife). He was able to put the human side of the story across but did not leave out the disaster of the Lusitania which also happened in Cobh waters. I really would recommend seeking Dennis out. I learned alot in the hour, but I do think that you should be able to book as a solo traveller.
5Informative tour with knowledgeable guide who took
Excellent tour. Gerald was a knowledgeable guide who took time to connect with the group. Group was just under 20 people so ideal. Lots of history and interesting anecdotes. Maybe a little expensive for what was a relatively short tour at 75 mins but very enjoyable.
5Insightful and engaging History
Denny McMurphy was the perfect guide as he walked us through his hometown and related history and personal connections to the Titanic, Lusitania, and the Cobh area.
5great guide and interesting
Our guide Pat was friendly and seemed to know everyone in the town! The sites were varied with lots of stories told and information.
5The lovely town of Cobh
Wonderful way to experience this absolutely beautiful town. Eddy was a gem, we could have listened to him and his stories for hours.
