A visit to a tea factory is a must-do activity for anyone traveling to Sri Lanka. One of the most popular tea factories to visit in Sri Lanka is the Pedro tea estate, which is located in the Nuwara Eliya district. The factory offers guided tours that take visitors through the entire process of tea production, including plucking, withering, rolling, fermenting, drying, and sorting. The tour ends with a tea tasting session where visitors can sample the various types of tea produced at the factory. Visiting a tea factory in Sri Lanka is not only a great learning experience, but it is also an opportunity to purchase high-quality tea at a reasonable price
Ramboda Waterfall, nestled in the misty hills of Nuwara Eliya, is one of Sri Lanka’s most stunning natural cascades. Surrounded by lush tea plantations and emerald-green valleys, this majestic Ramboda Falls plunges gracefully from a height of about 109 meters, creating a breathtaking sight and a serene atmosphere. It’s a must-visit stop for nature lovers and photographers traveling through Sri Lanka’s hill country, offering scenic viewpoints and tranquil moments amidst refreshing mountain air.

About Kandy
Kandy is the hill-country city of Sri Lanka, home to the Temple of the Tooth, a tree-fringed lake and a botanical garden among tea-covered hills.
Kandy was the last capital of the Sinhalese kings until the British took it in 1815. It stands around an artificial lake, about 500 metres above sea level, in the Central Highlands. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a UNESCO site, holds a relic said to be a tooth of the Buddha, and pilgrims bring lotus flowers each day. Drummers and dancers perform at the shrine's rituals.
Top-ranked sights in Kandy: Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), Alagalla Mountain Range.
