A warm welcome followed by an excellent jet boat trip along the river with Pat at the wheel. He stopped to give very interesting historical facts along the way. A fantastic hour on the water well worth it.

  • 5Unbelievably awesome river running fun

Fabulous experience from start to finish with great communication from the hosts because it was a bit touch and go with the weather. Luckily the sun came out and it went ahead as planned. Our host gave us a wonderful wild ride I can only compare to surfing! He also stopped at various places and told us about the history of the river, geographical landmarks, gold mining and the vegetation and wildlife. So in addition to it being an awesome wild ride (hold on hard), it was educational as well. It wasn't too short or too long but just right. Highly recommend!

  • 5So Much Fun – A Wanaka Must-Do!!

My husband and I did the Go Jets Wanaka experience on Wednesday and loved it. What a fantastic way to experience beautiful Wanaka - exciting, fun and with some spectacular scenery and gold mining history along the way. The team were friendly, welcoming and professional and made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. The jet boat ride itself was brilliant - plenty of excitement and laughs, and definitely one of the highlights of our New Zealand trip. We also had the pleasure of meeting their gorgeous 12-month-old Labradoodle, Brian, who was very enthusiastically assisting with operations! 😂🐶❤️ He was an absolute character and an added highlight for this dog lover! If you’re visiting Wanaka and looking for something fun and memorable to do, we would absolutely recommend Go Jets Wanaka. We had a ball and would happily do it all over again.

About Wānaka

Wānaka is a lakeside town in New Zealand's Southern Alps, set below snowy peaks, a gateway to Mount Aspiring National Park and the ski fields.

Wānaka sits at the southern end of Lake Wānaka in the Otago region of the South Island, with mountains rising on every side. A path follows the lakefront past the lone willow that stands in the water, which has become a symbol of the town. Roys Peak, with its zigzag track, and Mount Iron give views over the lake and the valley. The town has cafés, galleries and a nearby wine region.
