5Great experience! Highly...
Great experience! Highly recommended. My partner and I drove from Queenstown, and the drive was beautiful and enjoyable, with plenty of great stops and sightseeing along the way, including the Blue Pools and several waterfalls.
5Do the big tour, it’s so worth it
If you are going to take a helicopter to see the glaciers, go to the top and other side. It’s so worth it. Mt Cook is amazing and so are the views.
5Great experience despite...
Great experience despite the weather closing in fast. We had to change our plans due to the weather but we still managed a flight over the alps with a landing on Shackleton Glacier. There was great communication by the office staff prior to our flight. The bus driver and pilot were fantastic.
5Lincoln
This is the best thing I did in New Zealand bit expensive but truly worth it very well run business with super nice people and pilots and the chopper was perfect
5Fabulous experience
A truly amazing experience! Our pilot Mark was both informative and friendly. We touched down and walked on 2 glaciers, saw loads more and amount Cook. Totally brilliant
5We were a little...
We were a little apprehensive as never been on a helicopter before but it was amazing, you don’t appreciate the scale of the mountains and glaciers from the ground, we did the tour of 4 glaciers with 2 snow landings, our guide Mike was very good and pointed everything out to us and took photos along the way, a thoroughly enjoyable trip and would recommend to anyone

About Franz Josef & Fox Glacier
Franz Josef and Fox are two glaciers on New Zealand's West Coast that flow from the Southern Alps almost into temperate rainforest.
The Franz Josef and Fox glaciers descend from the Southern Alps through steep valleys into lowland rainforest on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island, ending only a few hundred metres above sea level. The two small townships, about twenty-five kilometres apart, sit in Westland Tai Poutini National Park, part of a UNESCO World Heritage area. Julius von Haast named Franz Josef in 1865 after the Austrian emperor.
