5Quick tour around the city
Really great time with John Koh and the other guys in the walking tour, although you cannot get a better detailed explanation of the city history, cause it's limited to the short history. Being a portuguese it was a plus getting to know this part of the history. The plus .. we get to know where is the best coffee and affordable meals 👌 Thank you John

5Fun, happy, informative!
This was a 3 hour tour led by the fantastic tour guide, Mimi!! She has a knowledge and passion for Malaka and its history which she shared in a fun and joyful way!! Mimi singing the Malaka Anthem was beautiful, and then her ability to incorporate contemporary songs and lyrics in her story-telling, made us smile throughout. Mimi was an absolute delight and through her we learnt to appreciate Malaka.

5Melaka Comes Alive on this Tour
We had a fantastic morning exploring Melaka on this UNESCO City Guided Walking Tour. Our guide, Olivia, was absolutely amazing — incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and, most importantly, so personable. She brought the history and stories of Melaka to life and made the whole experience feel relaxed, interesting and genuinely enjoyable. Olivia was happy to answer all our questions and shared so many fascinating insights that we would have missed exploring on our own. It was a wonderful way to discover the city and understand its rich history and culture. Highly recommend this tour, and especially Olivia as a guide. A fantastic experience!

About Melaka
Melaka is a historic Malaysian port on the Strait of Malacca, with Portuguese and Dutch landmarks, a river lined with shophouses and Peranakan food.
Melaka was a great trading port of the fifteenth century, then a Portuguese, Dutch and British possession, and its historic centre, listed by UNESCO with George Town, still bears all of those layers. The red Stadthuys, a Dutch town hall, and Christ Church stand around a square, and the ruined church of St Paul crowns the hill above, near the gateway of A Famosa, the old Portuguese fort. The Melaka River, lined with old shophouses and murals, runs through the centre.
Top-ranked sights in Melaka: Jonker Street (Jalan Hang Jebat), Malacca River (Sungai Melaka), Cheng Hoon Teng Temple.
