Itinerary
Batu Caves, located approximately 11 kilometers to the north of Kuala Lumpur is a limestone hill comprising three major caves and a number of smaller ones. Located approximately 11 kilometers to the north of Kuala Lumpur, this 100-year-old temple features idols and statues erected inside the main caves and around it. Incorporated with interior limestone formations said to be around 400 million years old, the temple is considered an important religious landmark by Hindus especially for the Thaipusam Festival
An interactive exhibit of pewter manufacturing, the Royal Selangor Visitor’s Centre is a 40,000sqft attraction housing a series of galleries, a factory and retail store. Recognised as one of the country’s premier tourist attractions, the place receives between 800 and 1,200 guests daily. Living up to its royal title, the air-conditioned, glass-sided building is gorgeous (think water fountains, warm lighting and polished wooden floors)
Historic Ampang Road and Ambassador’s Row – known for its embassies and highly desirable up market residences such as Sharif Ali Palace.
Batik or wax painting is an ancient Malaysian art form. Both hand drawn and block printing methods are demonstrated here. See how a piece of white cloth is transformed into colourful and exquisite design material.

About Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur is Malaysia's vibrant capital, where the Petronas Towers soar over Malay, Chinese and Indian neighbourhoods and renowned street food.
The twin Petronas Towers, linked by a skybridge, define the skyline, with a landscaped park and fountains at their feet. The KL Tower offers a different view from its forested hill, and Merdeka Square, where the national flag was raised at independence, is framed by the Moorish-style Sultan Abdul Samad Building.
Top-ranked sights in Kuala Lumpur: National Mosque of Malaysia (Masjid Negara), Thean Hou Temple, Kuala Lumpur Chinatown.
