4Nice experience but not a must-see
A fun experience if you have a spare afternoon/ evening to fill while in KL. I wouldn’t say it’s a must-do but it’s a nice family / couples activity. For me the highlight wasn’t actually the fireflies, it was two other things: The stop for the monkeys, having them on your shoulder and seeing the orange baby monkeys. Very cute! The second is the meal before the boat trip. I guess it can’t be advertised here because it’s not part of the package, but the guide recommended this absolutely fantastic place with fresh seafood right on the river. We had a beer and watched the sun set on the river. Beautiful, and it was a friendly family run place. They do good chicken dishes too if fish isn’t your thing. The fireflies are cool, but like many people say, not worth trying to get good pictures of. I think we should have left later, when it was properly dark. We went just after sun set and they weren’t as visible. The blue plankton is an optional extra- for us, not worth it, but maybe we just weren’t as lucky! The guide (sorry I can’t remember his name!) was excellent, very informative and friendly. We needed to stop at a supermarket on the way back and he dropped us off at the nearest one to our hotel.
4Good trip
Good trip, beautiful Hindu Temple; fireflies were a little but underwhelming. Guide/driver was very nice and knowledgeable
5A nice trip out to see the wider Kuala Lumpur...
First rate tour. Our guide, LG, was on time, friendly and very informative. The minibus was clean and comfortable. The fireflies are quite a distance from Kuala Lumpur, but this tour is broken up nicely with a stop at the Hindu temple and then to see the monkeys. Dinner before the boat and fireflies was good value and plentiful. Thank you LG for a memorable tour.
5Perfect Day Trip with an Excellent Driver
Everything was perfect from start to finish. The whole trip was very well organized, smooth and enjoyable. The itinerary was great, timing was well managed, and the experience fully met expectations. A special thank you to our driver, LG, who was outstanding — professional, punctual, friendly and very helpful throughout the day. He made the trip even better and deserves 10/10. Highly recommended.

The KL Tower offers a different view from its forested hill, and Merdeka Square, where the national flag was raised at independence, is framed by the Moorish-style Sultan Abdul Samad Building.
