5Excellent historical trip through World War 1 battlefields
A thoroughly enjoyable day with our excellent guide, Johanne who was extremely knowledgable. Highlights were Tyne Cot cemetery and the Menin Gate along with numerous other sites we visited. I'd recommend this to anyone.
5The guide, Diedrick...
The guide, Diedrick (sp?), had an encyclopedic knowledge of the battles and military life in Flamders during The Great War. We visited battlefields, monuments, and cemeteries as he recounted the history and pointed out relevant topography. The Flanders Museum in Ypres was excellent, and we found excellent restaurants for lunch and supper in Ypres.
5Excellent Flanders Fields Excursion
This tour was an excellent way to see the Flanders Fields area. Johan was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and presented the information in an engaging way. The itinerary included enough to time to explore Ypres a bit, and there was sufficient time to take photos at every site. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a day trip to Flanders Fields.

5Flanders fields
Great way to find out about WW1 and its effects on the Belgian people. Comprehensive background to the history of the conflict given by the guide.
5War Memorials Emotionally Charged Tour
Very good tour well worth the money. Tour guide very knowledgeable bus driver not very friendly. The last post ceremony at the end of the tour makes the tour worth every penny. I have mobility issues so at times stayed on the bus, tried making small talk and asking driver for information like if he could drop us at the traffic light by the train station upon our return to Brugge he never answered just ignored me. We asked our tour guide to be dropped off at train station traffic light so we could access a cab easier. After a heated french conversation exchange between the bus driver and the tour guide, the bus dropped us off on the opposite side away from taxi stand and Brugge tour bus stand. They both knew that I speak French. I felt that last exchange to be rude and unprofessional and it cost them each a 20 euros tip.

About Bruges
Bruges is a medieval Flemish city of canals, cobbled squares and brick gables, its historic centre protected as a World Heritage site.
Bruges grew rich in the Middle Ages on the cloth trade and as a port joined to the sea by a channel, until the waterway silted up and left the city almost untouched for centuries. The Markt square is overlooked by the Belfry, whose 366 steps lead up to a carillon and a view across the rooftops. A short walk away, the Burg holds the Gothic city hall and the Basilica of the Holy Blood.
Top-ranked sights in Bruges: Burg Square, Market Square (Markt), Minnewater (Lake of Love).
