Itinerary
The tour will begin with the Holy Trinity Cathedral "Sameba", which was built between 1996 and 2004 and became the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church.
Rustaveli Avenue is the central avenue of Tbilisi. It is named after the medieval Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli.
We'll visit the State History Museum, one of the main historical museums in Georgia. It displays such important archaeological finds as the fossilized remains of the hominid Homo Ergaster discovered in Dmanisi; a collection of 80,000 coins, primarily Georgian; medieval metal icons; and much more.
Mount Mtatsminda (Mount David) stretches alongside the main Rustaveli Avenue. A funicular runs to the summit, taking just five minutes. Mount Mtatsminda is nearly 800 meters high. The observation deck offers a magnificent panorama of Georgia's capital. In addition to the observation deck, the site also includes a TV tower, an amusement park, a Ferris wheel, and a restaurant.
Let's take a stroll through Europe Square and Meidan Square, one of the central squares of the Old Town.
We'll then take a cable car up the mountain to the Narikala Fortress, the old citadel and main fortress of the city. From here, guests will enjoy a magnificent view of the city.
Let's walk along one of the old streets of Tbilisi - Leselidze, feeling the color of the old city.
We will visit the oldest temple in Tbilisi, Anchiskhati, and the 12th-century Sioni Cathedral, which houses the cross of St. Nino.

About Tbilisi
Tbilisi, Georgia's capital, spills along a river gorge beneath a fortress, mixing balconied old houses, sulphur baths and bold modern landmarks.
The old town gathers along the Mtkvari River, its narrow streets lined with carved wooden balconies, churches and wine bars. Abanotubani, the bath district, is crowned by brick domes over sulphur springs, and the walls of Narikala Fortress overlook it all, reached by cable car or a steep walk. The Mother of Georgia statue stands on the ridge holding a sword and a bowl of wine.
Top-ranked sights in Tbilisi: Metekhi Church, Narikala Fortress, Tbilisi Old Town (Dzveli Tbilisi).
