  • 5A Wonderful Day of Wine, Food and Georgian Hospitality

I had a fantastic day exploring Kakheti with Gamarjoba Georgia Tours. The tour was well organised, with comfortable transportation, a thoughtful itinerary and plenty of time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. Kakheti offered a wonderful mix of scenic landscapes, charming towns, cultural experiences and excellent wine tasting. Our guide, Tako, made the day even more special with her kindness, patience and engaging insights into Georgian history, culture and winemaking. The wine tasting was a definite highlight. With plenty of wine, lively toasts, delicious food and strong chacha, the atmosphere quickly became relaxed and full of laughter. It was a wonderful introduction to Georgian hospitality and wine traditions. The friendly group made it easy to connect with fellow travellers, which I especially appreciated as a solo traveller. Overall, this was one of the highlights of my time in Georgia, and I would highly recommend Gamarjoba to anyone looking for a fun and memorable Kakheti experience.

  • 5Book it. You won't regret it.

Worth every penny. This trip gives you some of the most beautiful views of Georgia along with all the wine you heart desires. I highly advise doing this with a group and not a private tour because the memories you will make with complete strangers are the part you cannot put a price on. The cherry on top was Ilia, our guide, who showed complete knowledge of the traditions and was extremely approachable throughout the trip to answer questions.

About Tbilisi

Tbilisi, Georgia's capital, spills along a river gorge beneath a fortress, mixing balconied old houses, sulphur baths and bold modern landmarks.

The old town gathers along the Mtkvari River, its narrow streets lined with carved wooden balconies, churches and wine bars. Abanotubani, the bath district, is crowned by brick domes over sulphur springs, and the walls of Narikala Fortress overlook it all, reached by cable car or a steep walk. The Mother of Georgia statue stands on the ridge holding a sword and a bowl of wine.
