Highlights
We will meet around 6:30 AM and head out to explore the second-largest and best-preserved delta in Europe. Upon arrival, you will embark on a 4-5 hour boat trip led by a local guide. It is an amazing opportunity to admire one of the largest biodiversities in the world. The Danube Delta, part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites, is a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts, offering the chance to spot more than 300 species of birds and other animals. The area comprises an intricate network of waterways and lakes divided between the three main estuary channels of the Danube. This amazing region of floating reed islands, forests, pastures, and dunes covers 3,000 square miles and is home to a fascinating mix of cultures, people, and wildlife. During the tour, you will also have the chance to savor a traditional fisherman's lunch (optional and involves and extra cost). About Bucharest
Belle-époque boulevards, Orthodox churches and communist-era monuments meet around a busy old town in Bucharest, Romania's capital.
The vast Palace of the Parliament, among the largest administrative buildings in the world, dominates the centre as a striking legacy of the Ceaușescu era. Calea Victoriei, the grand avenue, leads past the domed Romanian Athenaeum concert hall, the former Royal Palace that houses the National Museum of Art, and Revolution Square, where the events of 1989 unfolded.
Top-ranked sights in Bucharest: Palace of Parliament (Palatul Parlamentului), Revolution Square (Piata Revolutiei), Arcul de Triumf (Arch of Triumph).
