Itinerary

  1. Morning pick-up, preferably at 8 am, we’ll have a 3.5-hours drive to Corvin Castle it will feel much shorter because of my storytelling about Romanian history while having an incredible view of the Carpathian Mountains. Also, I’ll share with you while I drive the story of the notorious Vlad the Impaler. After arriving at Corvin Castle we explore the inside of the castle guided by me and connecting the history to many of the facts, stories, and other information shared on the drive. The visit will take about 2 hours. Corvin Castle is probably the best Gothic castle that you’ve ever visited and is more than worth the drive to get there! After we visit the castle we drive to Sibiu for about 1.5 hours.

  2. Aaaaand we arrived in beautiful Sibiu, we will spend here about 3 hours. Sibiu is a middle-sized, well-preserved fortified medieval town in central Romania, situated in the historical region of Transylvania. Sibiu is known for its culture, history, gastronomy, and diverse architecture, which includes the iconic houses with eyes that gave Sibiu its nickname "the city with eyes". The town has a rich heritage and enchanting atmosphere, making it a destination for anyone who loves history, culture, and architecture. Here we'll visit the Orthodox and Lutheran Cathedrals and the historical center, which began the process of becoming a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sibiu is also known for its culinary scene, which offers a taste of traditional Romanian cuisine. We can stop for lunch at one of the many restaurants in the town and enjoy some of the local delicacies. After that, we'll drive for about 2 hours back to your hotel in Brasov.

About Brașov

Brașov is a medieval Transylvanian city ringed by the Carpathians, with a Gothic Black Church, a cobbled main square and day trips to Bran Castle.

Brașov lies in a basin of the Carpathian Mountains in central Romania, with the wooded Tâmpa hill rising above its old town. The city was built up by German settlers, the Transylvanian Saxons, and its centre is a tidy grid of baroque houses around Council Square, with the Old Council House in the middle. The Black Church, the largest Gothic church between Vienna and Istanbul, was blackened by a fire in 1689.

Top-ranked sights in Brașov: Black Church (Biserica Neagra), Council Square (Piata Sfatului), Rope Street (Strada Sforii).
