What riders say

Across these tickets travellers rate DoDublin 4.5 out of 5 from 3,832 reviews.

The tour was fun with the driver giving you good information on route with a bit of qrauq. Molly Malone song! Free ticket to little museum, 2 for1 meal deals at pub/restaurants and reliable on time at stops. Has a bus tracker you can use. You must go to the Guinness Storeroom!!

It was our youngest daughter's birthday. We booked for two days hop on hop off. Day one both Brendan were very helpful and informative, day two Tyrone was both helpful and hilarious. Thank you, you helped our weekend in Dublin go like clockwork.

This is still the best way to see a city. We were in Dublin two years ago and took the tour using Hop On, Hop Off and it helped us plan out the sites to see the rest of our trip. We returned to Dublin and used the Hop On, Hop Off to reacquaint ourselves. It was excellent. Our driver, Martin, was a delight.

Best time to ride

Late spring and early autumn give the best balance of dry weather and manageable crowds for an open-top deck. Dublin weather changes quickly, so a waterproof layer helps in any season.

Who it suits

Families
A single loop with live commentary keeps younger riders engaged, and Phoenix Park and Dublin Zoo are reachable from the route.
Couples
The Georgian squares and the Liffey quays suit an unhurried ride with a few hop-offs for a pub or museum.
Seniors
Boarding is at street-level stops and the live commentary lets riders sit back; stops are spread widely, so choosing a few rather than all keeps the day easy.
First-time visitors
One loop covers Trinity College, the cathedrals, the Guinness area and Phoenix Park, which makes it a good orientation on the first day.
