Designed for Premium wine tastings, a vineyard with old cellars full of history. During the time of independence from Spain one of the last battles took place in Rancagua. Where our troops are ambushed and are known as the Rancagua disaster. Our liberator, seeing all hope lost, breaks the siege at full gallop and escapes, being pursued by the royalist troops. When crossing these lands, Doña Paula Jaraquemada offers them protection and help. 120 Patriots who were fighting for independence sheltered in its cellars. Viña Santa Rita was founded in 1880. French and American oak barrels are used in the wineries, where the wine acquires complexity and body. With a woody flavor and a soft and delicate aroma. The best wines of the vineyard such as Casa Real and Medalla Real Cabernet Sauvignon are aged in an underground cellar. Declared a National Monument, it was built by French architects and its material is made of lime and stone.
