2. You will drive by and, if you wish, stop to visit the iconic Harpa concert hall — Reykjavík’s award-winning glass building by the harbor. Known for its striking architecture and cultural importance, Harpa is home to concerts, exhibitions, and events. Since this is a private tour, you are in control of how much time you would like to spend here.

3. Sun Voyager (Sólfar) You stop to admire the Sun Voyager, Reykjavík’s famous steel sculpture by Jón Gunnar Árnason. Shaped like a Viking ship, it represents a dream of hope, freedom, and discovery. Located by the waterfront, it is one of the city’s most photographed landmarks with beautiful views of the bay and mountains.

Höfði House You will visit the historic Höfði House, a beautiful early 20th-century building best known as the location of the 1986 Reykjavík Summit between Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev — a meeting that marked the beginning of the end of the Cold War. Today, the house stands as one of Reykjavík’s most important cultural and political landmarks.

5. Grótta Lighthouse You will drive to the scenic Grótta Lighthouse, located on a small peninsula at the edge of Reykjavík. Surrounded by black sand beaches and stunning ocean views, it is a peaceful spot for photography and nature watching. On clear evenings, it is also one of the best places to look for the Northern Lights.

6. Hallgrímskirkja Church You will visit Hallgrímskirkja, Reykjavík’s iconic church and one of Iceland’s most famous landmarks. Inspired by Iceland’s basalt lava formations, its striking architecture dominates the city skyline. You can explore the church and, if you wish, take an elevator to the tower for panoramic views of Reykjavík and surrounding landscapes.

7. Rainbow Street You will stop at Rainbow Street, one of Reykjavík’s most colorful and photogenic areas. Known for its vibrant rainbow-painted crosswalk and artistic surroundings, this street celebrates diversity and creativity.
