  • 5Scenic tour with informative guide

Excellent tour with Gudgon Jess and Maggi! The bus driver drove the bus smoothly and safely, and our guide told interesting stories and facts for the duration of the trip. We also enjoyed his humour and wit! The scenery was spectacular and we lucked out with a beautiful, sunny day too.

  • 1Not Trustworthy, Beware!!

This company is not trustworthy and has no problem stealing your money! Sadly, that is what happened to us. They emailed us last night and told us to click a link to find our pick up point. We went to the bus stop that they pinned in Google Maps, but the bus did not show up. After being there 40 minutes early, we called fifteen minutes before the tour was supposed leave. I waited on hold for fifteen minutes, and then the customer service rep said that we were in the wrong spot and the bus LEFT WITHOUT US!! We told him we were exactly where they dropped their pin and were even waiting with another family. He said he was sorry but the bus could not turn around to get us and there was nothing they could do, which included giving us a refund. Since we booked through Viator, they could not give us our money back. So, now with our only day in port, we were left behind, and they are keeping our money!! Truly abhorrent behavior for a tour company!!! Be careful and don’t get scammed the way we did!!

Our tour guide Gudjon Jes was exceptional from start to finish. His knowledge of the area, history, and local culture was impressive. Gudjon was friendly, approachable, and made everyone feel welcome throughout the tour. What stood out most was Gudjon’s engaging storytelling which made the tour both enjoyable and informative. About Reykjavik

Reykjavik is the northernmost capital of any nation, a colourful, compact city of art and music that opens onto Iceland's volcanic landscapes.

The landmark Hallgrímskirkja church, its tower inspired by basalt columns, rises above streets of brightly painted houses. Down by the harbour, the glass-fronted Harpa concert hall shimmers on the water, and the Sun Voyager sculpture faces the sea toward Mount Esja. Laugavegur, the main shopping street, is lined with design shops, cafés and bars.

Top-ranked sights in Reykjavik: Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss, Harpa.
