  • 5Great experience with Marlon

Had a wonderful day with the guide Marlon. He was very informative in both English and Spanish. Showed us the best views and even helped us taking pictures. He also shared his great music and local recommendations with us afterwards! Would recommend!

  • 5Best tour and guide in San Pedro de Atacama

This was my favorite tour and favorite guide in San Pedro de Atacama. Not only was the scenery beautiful, but Marlon was an exceptional guide. Passionate about the area, he explained everything in a lively and interesting manner. More importantly, he was diligent about looking after us and ensuring we had a great experience. He regularly checked in with each of us to make sure we were okay with the altitude. And, important to me, he was very careful with dietary restrictions. I have to eat gluten free and he made sure I had separate containers that would not be contaminated, rice cakes instead of bread, etc. Truly a dream tour for someone with dietary restrictions. If you are on a tour with Marlon, count yourself lucky!

This tour is amazing! The landscapes are otherworldly and Marlon and Edwin and Edwin did an amazing job of making the whole experience so enjoyable. The breakfast and the lunch they prepared for us was of the freshest quality and the best ingredients! I have never had meals on a tour like these! Bravo!!!

About San Pedro de Atacama

San Pedro de Atacama is an adobe oasis town in northern Chile, ringed by salt flats, volcanoes, geysers and some of the driest desert on earth.

San Pedro de Atacama is a village of low whitewashed adobe houses and dusty streets in an oasis of the Atacama Desert, at about 2,400 metres. Its adobe church goes back to the 17th century and has a roof of cactus wood, and the small Museo Arqueológico Gustavo Le Paige displays mummies and pottery from the desert's early peoples. The cone of Licancabur volcano stands over the town to the east.

Top-ranked sights in San Pedro de Atacama: El Tatio Geysers, Moon Valley (Valle de la Luna), Chaxa Lagoon (Laguna Chaxa).
