Highlights

Discover a different way to experience the famous Petrohué River aboard an inflatable ducky, a stable and easy-to-maneuver kayak designed for whitewater adventures. Unlike traditional rafting, duckies provide a more personal and interactive experience, allowing each participant to navigate the river independently while guided by experienced professionals. Surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, you'll paddle through crystal-clear waters, enjoy exciting rapids, and experience one of the most scenic river adventures in Chile's Lake District. About Puerto Varas

Puerto Varas is a lakeside town in southern Chile, set on Lake Llanquihue beneath the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes with a German-settler stamp.

Puerto Varas sits on the shore of Lake Llanquihue, one of Chile's largest lakes, with the snow-capped cone of Osorno volcano standing across the water and the jagged Calbuco close by. German families settled the region from the 1850s, and the wooden houses with steep shingled roofs and the gardens full of roses along the lakefront still show their influence.
