Highlights

Not your standard kayaking tour—this river adventure is a guided jungle immersion that begins with hands-on instruction and builds into a relaxed, exploratory paddle through a living river ecosystem. Your experience is designed to adapt to river conditions, allowing you to move with the natural rhythm of the water while spotting wildlife and taking in the surrounding jungle at an unhurried pace. This kayaking adventure is based on a private, off-grid ecofarm, allowing the experience to extend beyond kayaking. Guests are invited to relax and play by swimming in the river, lounging on a riverside beach, and breezily swinging in hammocks. With full access to the ecofarm—including a butterfly garden!—this experience blends sporting adventure, education, wildlife observation, and deep relaxation in a way that’s truly memorable.

About Belize City

Belize City is a harbour town on the Caribbean, the country's largest city and the usual starting point for the cayes, the reef and Maya sites.

Belize City sits low on the Caribbean coast at the mouth of Haulover Creek, which divides the town in two, and an old swing bridge over the creek is its best-known landmark. It was the capital until the government moved inland to Belmopan in 1970 after a devastating hurricane, but it remains the biggest city and the main port. Wooden colonial houses stand beside newer buildings, and the Museum of Belize occupies a former prison.

Top-ranked sights in Belize City: Xunantunich, Altun Ha, Lamanai.
