5Wonderful and quick...
Wonderful and quick must-do tour in Kazbegi with a great tour guide and driver. Good times, good views, good company.
5Loved it
Beautiful experience. Time of tour was perfect. Short and sweet. Price was worth it.
5An excellent experience...
An excellent experience in Kazbegi! From the booking until the end, the whole experience was smooth. The father and son guide and driver (sorry forgot your names!) offered such positive energy and interaction. I wish they would organise all tour experiences in Georgia, we loved their friendliness and welcoming attitude! The hike to waterfall was a magnificent way to experience Georgian nature. Would love to visit again!
5Great hike with friendly people
Great communication, friendly people, enjoyed the hike. It took less than the time stated but was still enjoyable
5This is a medium level hike at a high altitude
The activity was well organized and planned, and took place in the set time - the actual hiking was a bit more than an hour to a pretty waterfall. What's important to know is that there are a few more steep climbs and you are at a high altitude. I got dizzy and needed to stop a bit to acclimate. The guide was good about staying back with me and making sure I was OK. It is not a particularly complex hike, but I would recommend good shoes and just be careful if you are someone who is affected by high altitude.

About Stepantsminda
Stepantsminda, also called Kazbegi, is a mountain village in northern Georgia beneath Mount Kazbek, with a hilltop church and the old Military Road.
Stepantsminda lies at about 1,700 metres in the Greater Caucasus, in the valley of the Terek River, on the Georgian Military Road that climbs from Tbilisi over the Jvari Pass towards the Russian border. Mount Kazbek, a dormant volcano of 5,054 metres, rises to the west of the village with glaciers below its summit.
